Meet
Laura
Laura, 35, is a funny, bright and bubbly woman living with Cerebral Palsy and an Intellectual Disability.
Laura has spent her entire life living in her family home, relying on her mother’s full-time care.
As Laura grew older, both her and her mother recognised the importance of fostering her independence while ensuring she could live safely and confidently as an adult.

Circle
Leaving home for the first time was both exciting and daunting for Laura.
Her mother was supportive but wanted reassurance that Laura would receive the right care and be surrounded by people who listened to her and respected her needs.
Circle SC worked with the family to make this transition a success. We worked closely with Laura, her mother, and her providers to:
- Find the Right Home – Laura moved in with two friends from her supported employment placement at Workpower, fostering a sense of familiarity and companionship.
- Coordinate Tailored Support – Laura received assistance with daily living tasks, social engagement, and goal-setting.
- Supporting the Family – Regular transparent communication reassured Laura’s mother, making the transition smoother for both of them.
- Advocating for Laura’s needs – Writing detailed reports and reporting on outcomes for the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) to assist Laura to receive the right NDIS plan.
With structured support in place, Laura was able to embrace this new chapter while maintaining the relationships that mattered most to her.

Laura
Today
Since moving into her new home, Laura has flourished. She has built stronger friendships, established a place in her community, and continues to thrive in her role at Workpower.
With a solid support system, she has developed the confidence and independence to be supported to complete her daily routines and activities. Her mother, once apprehensive, now takes pride in Laura’s growth.

This transition has given Laura a renewed sense of purpose, proving that with the right planning and support, independence can be both empowering and fulfilling.
Dan is the SC for our 35yr old daughter and the family as a whole. He has set me up with referrals, has organised support and has been instrumental in our tribunal hearing.
They are by far the best choice we’ve made in Support Coordinators and believe me when I say I have been through a few over the years.
We have goal plans in place that are reviewed as and when needed. Dan is on top of such things. Dan is available whenever we need to discuss something. Currently we are in the middle of a tribunal hearing for a mis-diagnosis of our daughter and Dan has been extremely supportive.
Dan is always there to address any issues. They do what you ask of them and are honest when things are not practicable, I would rate them 10/10.
